Thursday June 28, 2012 the Santa Rosa Police Department will deploy extra officers to patrol areas of Santa Rosa known to have high incidents of motorcycle accidents. The Santa Rosa Police Department will also target areas known to be frequented by motorcyclists. The police will be looking for riders as well as drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs and to try and crack down on violations made by drivers and riders that can lead to accidents.
